Collection of items for local British Heart Foundation shops
Firstly, a huge thank-you to everyone who supported our recent collection of used books, clothing and other items, to be distributed to British Heart Foundation shops throughout the area.
Altogether, enough items were collected over the three days to fill two vans (see attached photos), and we are confident that, when sold, these items will raise over £10,000 for the British Heart Foundation!
Special thanks to Leatherhead Football Club for once again letting us use their clubhouse at Fetcham Grove as a collection point and also to their Chairman, David Pope, for donating a couple of bags of items himself – photo also attached.
We already have dates for our next collection, Wednesday 4th to Friday 6th September 2024, so please start putting aside any unwanted items now – thank you.
STOP PRESS! We will also be holding a traditional bucket collection in aid of the British Heart Foundation at Leatherhead FC’s home match at Fetcham Grove on the afternoon of Saturday 27th April – please contact us (details below) if you are able to spare an hour or two to help collect – thank you.

Sunday 14th April (2.30pm): Big Band Concert at Leatherhead Theatre – come and join us for a fantastic afternoon of swing music and Sinatra classics – already over 80% sold out!
Sunday 5th May (10.00am): Bluebell 10k Run across Headley Heath – always a very popular event – a lovely wooden medal for all finishers… and free cake at the end!
Wednesday 8th May (7.00pm): Race Night at St Mary’s Church Hall in Fetcham – a fun evening of video horse races, together with a fish and chip supper!
Friday 23rd August: Golf Day at Clandon Regis Golf Club – a very enjoyable morning of golf… with breakfast and lunch included!
Wednesday 16th October (10.00am to 4.00pm): Bridge Masterclass with Andrew Robson OBE at the Old Barn Hall in Bookham – suitable for players of all levels!
