Leatherhead Football Club was delighted to assist Leatherhead Rotary for three days last week, by offering the clubhouse as a collection point for their bric-a brac collection in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
Chairman David Pope commented:
“We want our Club to be more involved in our local community, and our clubhouse is usually unused during the daytime, so it was great to make use of it for such a worthy cause. Leatherhead Rotary were great to work with, they took full responsibility for the organising, manning and collection, all we had to do was make our space available, but it’s a great example of two local community organisations working together for the benefit of others”
