Leatherhead FC Win the 2026 Community Impact Award

Leatherhead FC have been crowned winners of the 2026 Community Impact Award at the Best of Non‑League Awards. National recognition for a year in which the club proved that football can change lives far beyond the pitch.

The judges highlighted Leatherhead’s commitment to men’s health, including the partnership with The Prostate Project and the delivery of free PSA testing for 94 local men, as well as the club’s ongoing support for Prostate Cancer UK.

They also praised the club’s year‑round work for our Schools Outreach Program and Matchday Experience for local school children, calling Leatherhead “a model for what a community football club looks like”. This work in particular was made possible by the grant from Isthmian League sponsors, Pitching In.

Chairman John Dean said the award reflects “the heart of the club – supporters, volunteers, partners, and staff pulling in the same direction to make Leatherhead a force for good”.

This recognition caps a remarkable season in which the Tanners have shown we are a winning team on and off the pitch.
