Manager Hayden Bird has today added to the squad following a recent injury to Mikey Allen, which will see him out of action for a number of weeks.

Goalkeeper Harvey Keogh will be a familiar face to some already having been in and around the club at a young age.

The 19 year old keeper started his footballing career at Leatherhead Youth before joining Aldershot Town. Harvey played for Aldershot’s u23’s alongside former Tanner loanees Keane Anderson and Maxwell Mullins and while there gained three England u18’s schoolboy caps along the way.

In the last 18 months he has gained valuable experience having played 49 times at step 5 of the footballing pyramid.

He lives locally and is a former pupil of St Andrews school in Leatherhead.

Manager Hayden Bird added “ We have been monitoring Harvey’s progress at step 5 and we are aware that he has impressed at Epsom and Ewell captaining the side for part of the season. He unexpectedly became available this week and we asked him to join us pre-match on Tuesday to assist in warming up Mikey. With Mikey’s injury and Harvey’s immediate availability it makes perfect sense to bring him on board especially as he has had interest from several other step 4 clubs”.

We would like to thank Mel at Epsom and Ewell for helping us register Harvey in time for today’s away trip to Badshot Lea.
