Club Statement.

CLUB STATEMENT
The club wishes to announce that following an end-of-season review, Manager Hayden Bird has leftby mutual consent.
Following a season which saw us improve, achieve a play-off final, but which ultimately saw us fallingshort of being promoted, the club has decided to change direction and move forward under newmanagement on the pitch.
Hayden joined at a difficult time for the club on and off the pitch, and was a key part of stabilisingand then helping us move the club forwards. He has worked tirelessly and successfully inestablishing a settled team and improved performances, so we would like to place on record ourthanks and gratitude to Hayden for managing the team over the last 18 months and wish him wellfor the future, he will always be welcome at Fetcham Grove.
Hayden has asked the following statement to be placed on record. “I would like to thank everyone atLeatherhead FC for a thoroughly enjoyable 18 months. Since I arrived, I have always been aware ofthe importance of being promoted this season and understand and respect the Club’s decision tomove in a different direction. I would like to wish the club every success in the future.”
The club will now be focusing on recruiting a new manager and will make an announcement as soonas possible.
