Fixture Update – Supporters Info

New date for Badshot Lea match: Club Statement

Just a quick update now that we have the new date confirmed for the postponed away game against Badshot Lea.

We have been told by the Isthmian League that this must be played next Thursday 4th April. This means that the squad faces playing four games in the space of eight days:
– Saturday 30th March: home v South Park- Easter Monday 1st April: away v Corinthian Casuals
– Thursday 4th April: away v Badshot Lea
– Saturday 6th April: away v Southall

By any standard this is a very ‘challenging’ run of games in such a short space of time, so the club appealed to the Isthmian League to move the Badshot Lea fixture to the following Thursday 11th (which was OK for both teams), particularly as after the Southall game we don’t play another game for two weeks (v Hanworth Villa on the 20th April).

Unfortunately because of their rules the Isthmian League rejected our request, so I felt that supporters deserve an explanation about the fixture schedule, and also a reassurance that we have tried to get it changed – unfortunately without success.
