Squad Update – Harvey Keogh

We can confirm that this weekend we have received an approach from another step four side for goalkeeper Harvey Keogh, and after a discussion with Hayden and Junior he has decided to depart for regular game time.
Manager Hayden Bird commented “Both Junior and I have been extremely impressed with Harvey, not just his ability but his professionalism and his approach to the game, he’s a great lad and extremely talented. “Junior and I will be disapointed to see him leave the club, but we both understand Harvey’s desire to play and progress through the leagues, add to that, the technical side of goalkeeping meaning that he will continue to get better by playing more games at this level and not sitting on the bench. The opportunity he has been offered will give him valuable game time between now and the end of the season without the pressure of a play-off place in the back of a young goalkeepers mind, and will put him in a great position for next season at this level”.
Harvey is a popular face around the ground and is always welcome at Fetcham Grove.
