We are pleased to announce the signing of Bobby Price following his departure from Burgess Hill Town. Bobby is an experienced attacking full back who made just under 300 appearances for Carshalton Athletic where he had spent the majority of his early career. A move to Horsham would follow where he would make thirty two appearances and start the second round FA cup fixture against Sutton United. Bobby would then move over to Burgess hill where he’s spent the last two seasons. In his time at the club, Bobby made 73 appearances scoring eight times and scored the crucial second goal in the Hillians semi final victory against Margate.
On his arrival, Bobby told us “I’m excited to be joining Leatherhead, a huge club with a fantastic fan base and great ambitions. I’m looking forward to meeting the lads, getting to work, and using my experience to help build on last season’s success!”
On Bobbys signing, Ian Selley commented “Hes an experienced defender who can play in any position across the backline. He’ll bring that experience across with him, he’s good in the changing room and a proper leader. He’ll fit right in!”
