We are excited to announce the signing of winger Kofi Anokye-Boadi following his departure from Chatham Town.
Formerly of Barnet youth, Kofi has experience across Steps Three and Four. A standout season for Northwood, where he scored fourteen goals saw him earn a move to Chatham Town where he has spent the last two years. Kofi ended the 2025/26 season with 8 goals and 4 assists in 22 starts for Chatham. During the 24/25 season Kofi ended the season on loan with Hendon where he scored six goals for the North London side.
On his arrival to the Grove, Kofi said “I’m delighted to be joining Leatherhead and excited for this new chapter. Having played against the club a number of times over the years, I know how big a club it is and the standards and expectations that come with it. Clubs like this should always be challenging towards the top end of the table and competing for silverware. I’m really looking forward to working with Selley and Pitts too. I’ve always respected the way their teams play and the environment they create, so it’s something I’m excited to now be a part of. I enjoyed my time at Chatham and I’ll always be grateful for the people there, but once the opportunity to join Leatherhead came up, it felt like the right move for me. I can’t wait to meet the fans, settle in with the boys and hopefully show everyone what I am all about this season”
On Kofi’s signing, Ian Selley commented “We had lots of chats with Kofi before he went to Chatham. We’ve tracked him and I know he’s a great lad. He has got Step 3 experience and can play anywhere within the attacking midfielder area whether that’s as the 10, on the left or the right. He’ll fit in well with how we play, he’s quality and will bring experience to our front line.”
