Jim Gordon

Leatherhead Football Club is pleased to announce that Jim Gordon has joined the club’s board.

Jim is a familiar face around Fetcham Grove and is currently Chair of the Tanners Supporters Club. He will bring a valuable supporters’ perspective to the leadership team. In addition to this, his extensive experience in running his own business for the past 25 years will further strengthen the club’s operations and decision-making.

The club looks forward to working with Jim as we continue to grow and build a strong future together.

Club Chair David Pope commented “We are delighted that Jim has joined the club’s board as a director. As Chair of the TSC we already have a lot to do with him, and we are now looking forward to working with him further on the club leadership team, his energy and significant knowledge on and off the pitch will bring a lot to the club as we move forward.”

  1. Congratulations to Jim Gordon on his appointment but, what does that mean for the Tanners Supporters Club, I thought they had to be two separate entities so he cannot be on the board plus Chairman of TSC?

  2. I always thought that the TSC Chairman was co opted on to the LFC committee for liaison purposes but does this director appointment make it a conflict of interest when each camp are meant to be independent of each other.
