First of all you can catch Swannell at the Swan Centre on 7th and 14th of August between 12pm – 2pm for the Swan Olympics.
It’s a free event full of fun and games including Balloon Volleyball, Obstacle Courses, Speedy Ducks and much more. You can also support the Swan Centre by donating to their charity on the day “Momentum” . For more information on this great local event click here
Then on 26th August, Swannell will once again be racing in The Epsom Mascot Derby at the world famous Epsom Downs Race Course to raise much needed money for The Children’s Trust in Tadworth.
Mascots from football, rugby, cycling, cricket, athletics, basketball, Ice Hockey & businesses will be invited, this is a mascot race organised by mascots doing their best to ensure all mascots see this as the best mascot event to attend. Mascots from as far North as Scotland & as far West as Cornwall attended last year.
Mascots are travelling from across the country to take part. Search Epsom Downs Mascot race 2023 on Facebook for updates on who is taking part, and for raffle prizes that have kindly been donated.
The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury. They deliver rehabilitation, education and community services through skilled teams who work with children and young people, and their families. They are based in Tadworth, very close to Epsom Downs race course.
They provide brain injury information in an understandable language and hope that parents, teachers and families find it helpful on their on-going journey following a child’s brain injury.
Swannell has even visited the staff & patients there and seen first hand [or wing ] the amazing work they do.
Every penny donated will really help them be able to make a difference to so many. So if you can support Swannell click on the below link to donate , type “Good luck Swannell” in your comments and why not take the family to watch the race live,
