Leatherhead FC have today completed the signing of Tommy Stagg from Cheshunt.
Stagg progressed through the ranks at Colchester United from the age of eight, making his league debut at The Job Serve Community Stadium at nineteen. Having left the League Two Club last year, he has also appeared for Weymouth, Billericay Town and Cray Wanderers. The 21 year old centre forward is 6ft 2” and will provide a different dimension to The Tanners forward line.
Tommy is expected to be named in tomorrow’s Match Day squad, at home to Badshot Lea.
Currently well placed in third and just one point behind the leaders, it’s another big game for Hayden and the team.
As for Badshot Lea, the visitors arrive at The Grove in excellent form, having won five from their last six league games which includes a 4-1 victory over the current league leaders, Raynes Park Vale. They are placed in 7th, having played one game less than most clubs.
Let’s get behind the team tomorrow and encourage them from the sidelines for what is sure to be a very competitive game.
