Leatherhead Football Club is delighted to announce signing of Trey Masikini.
The former Carshalton Athletic attacking midfield player arrives at Fetcham Grove, having played a pivotal role in steering Merstham away from relegation in the second half of the season.
“Trey is a modern day winger, who can operate on either flank, in an inverted role or as a No. 10.” explained Hayden. “He is a player with very similar attributes as Dan Hector. Trey is direct, quick, has excellent feet and has the ability to beat players.”
“I first met Trey last season. He had a couple of training sessions with us and really impressed. Unfortunately, timing was against us and we were not in a position to sign him. Therefore, he went to Merstham, where we kept close tabs on him. You know what they say, the best things come to those that wait!”
“It’s great to be here!” said our third Summer signing. “I already know a lot of the players here. All of them said really good things.”
“ I’m delighted to have signed and will do everything I can to get Leatherhead promoted this season.”
