An amazing man, who had LFC running through his veins I had the pleasure to be in many teams he looked after, every game to him was important, it’s like he was the 12th man. I was lucky with Terry Eames and Brian Perkins to see him recently, it’s almost like we were still playing for LFC, so sad but proud to say I knew this great man
Gerald was a very dedicated and special friend. When I was Chairman of the Club Gerald was always ready to give valuable advice based on his long period of serving the club as a Director and Chairman.
We sat close together at most games and he attended matches regularly until health issues intervened.
He will be remembered for all his expert work for the Club over several decades.
So sorry I was unwell and unable to attend. My prayers for all at the Club I love and I will remeber a true friend and loyal Tanner for over 40 years. RIP.
